I am starting a collection of Porch Prayer cards. It only takes me a few minutes to make one and I am going keep the collection in one of the iCompanions and name it Porch Prayers.
I’m making scripture affirmations stickits and decorating them with Blobbies mood faces. My affirmation today was on Proverbs 13:4.
I was moved by this quote from Jim Wallis who points out that peacemakers are more than peace-lovers. “Anyone can love peace, but Jesus didn't say, "Blessed are the peace-lovers." He says peacemakers. He is referring to a life vocation, not a hobby on the sidelines of life.”
I made an applique quilt block playing with this month's PEACE shapes.

I’ve spent a several days putting together a new template for my daily journal with the five areas I like to capture. I take a few minutes in the morning to add the scripture, quote, gratitude, and whatever events I have planned. Then at the end of the day I add important events that happened and a few thoughts.
🌸 Start Where You Are 🌸
“Whoever watches the wind will not plant; whoever looks at the clouds will not reap.” — Ecclesiastes 11:4
Sometimes we wait for the perfect moment before we start our daily creative worship—when the house is quiet, when life feels less busy, or when inspiration finally strikes. But God gently reminds us that if we’re always waiting for the right conditions, we may never plant or see a harvest.
Inside CBJ, you already have a rich garden of tools waiting—templates, prompts, journaling kits, and lessons designed to help you meet with God creatively. The good news? You don’t have to use it all at once. You can simply begin with one small step.
🌱 Open one prompt.
🌱 Try one sticker or journaling card.
🌱 Spend just a few minutes on one verse.
Each little seed you plant in His presence has value. As you begin, even in small ways, God will meet you there and bring growth.
💖 Don’t wait for perfect conditions—start today, right where you are.
I went through my photos to find some clouds that felt peaceful.
I can’t believe September is around the corner. My goal for September is to do a scripture card each day.
